# Adamastor

> Adamastor is a digital publication for all things startup in Portugal. We publish a weekly digest on the Portuguese startup scene and curate an events calendar for the tech and startup community.

## What we do

### Weekly Startup Digest

Original reporting and analysis on the Portuguese startup ecosystem — fundraises, launches, founder profiles, market commentary, and community news. Delivered to subscribers weekly and archived on the site.

### Events Calendar

Curated meetups, conferences, workshops, and founder gatherings across Portugal. Searchable by city and category. Each event links out to the original platform (Luma, Eventbrite, Meetup, etc.) for RSVP.

## Editorial team

- **Carlos Resende** — Co-founder and main author. Director of Founder Institute Portugal and curator of Techstars Startup Digest.
- **Afonso Gonçalves** — Co-founder. Chapter Director at Startup Grind Lisbon.
- **Malik Piara** — Co-founder. Also founder of LisboaUX (UX/design community in Lisbon), LisboaJS (JavaScript community in Lisbon), and Outono.org. Previously founded 351 Startup Community (no longer associated).
