Co-working for Developers

09:30Lisboa

If you are new to Lisbon, there's a place for you here. We're a local community of people who create software and we understand what is like to pack our bags and move all the way to a new place where we don't know the language or have any friends. it doesn't have to be this way. There are 7 countries represented in this picture. And there's plenty of room for more to join. You're never alone. A lot of us have jobs, run our own thing, or freelance, and we'd just rather not build alone every day. Bring whatever you're working on. You'll spend the day around people who get it, and most people leave with a new friend or two, sometimes a collaborator or a job lead, and something they picked up from whoever sat next to them. Beginners are welcome, and despite the name, you don't have to write JavaScript. If you create software, you belong here. Tickets are a symbolic 5€, just enough to keep no-shows down, so the people who commit get a seat. If you're a student or between jobs, you can get it back after the event. Grab a seat while there's room. Want to meet people before Friday? Join us on Telegram. it's where we share what's coming up, swap ideas, and post job openings. AGENDA 09:30 - Co-working with other Developers. 13:00 - Lunch Together. We also run Adamastor, a publication covering the Portuguese startup scene. It keeps a page and weekly newsletter with every software engineering event happening in Portugal, so you'll always know what else is on beyond our Fridays. We add them as we hear about them, and you can submit your own: https://adamastor.blog/events/software-engineering This event takes place at the same place and time as the co-working day for designers by LisboaUX. Hire Your Ai Team In Minutes · Zoom

18:30Online

What if you could hire a new team member in 2 minutes, no recruitment, no onboarding, no fixed salary? Spinnable.ai enables any business to hire AI workers that function as real digital colleagues. They communicate via email, WhatsApp, and chat, have their own memory, learn your business over time, and autonomously execute real tasks — from inbox management and customer support to financial analysis and day-to-day operations. In this hands-on session, Gil Coelho (co-founder of Spinnable) shows how startups and SMBs are already scaling their operations with AI teams — without increasing headcount. Businesses have a universal problem: too many tasks, too few hands. Hiring is expensive, slow, and risky. What if there was another way? Spinnable.ai is a Portuguese platform that makes it possible to hire AI workers as if they were real employees. No code, no complex setup — you choose a profile, describe what you need, and in less than 2 minutes you have a new team member ready to work. These AI workers: • Communicate via email, WhatsApp, and chat — like any colleague • Have individual memory — they learn your business context over time • Are autonomous — they execute tasks, research, analyze data, and write reports • Integrate with tools you already use — Notion, Google Sheets, Gmail, Slack, GitHub, and more Real use cases: inbox & calendar management, customer support, financial analysis, sales operations, growth marketing, and property management. In this session, Gil Coelho (co-founder of Spinnable) will demonstrate live how it works and how early- stage businesses are multiplying their operational capacity without multiplying costs. Ideal for: founders, small teams, and any business that needs to do more with less.

EDTH x Andreas Pilz — Getting Your Ideas and Products into the Defense Market

17:00Online

An often-missed element of being in a promising defence team as a start-up or scale-up is to forget that after the successful and promising pitches the products need to be brought onto the market and bought by military procurement. One way or the other! Responding to short-term demand instead of focusing on a clear product vision and growth strategy based on a long-term relationship is often the wrong turn taken. We will talk about: the peculiar thing about the defence market and it’s customers how defence teams can position themselves in the market the benefits LSI bring to the table how to navigate and sell to a MoD real lessons, mistakes, and insights in your Q&A round Agenda (45 mins): Introduction to the session by Andreas Pilz, Key Account Director Skyeton, Mentor for DIANA and Stage2 Group, Lecturer at CCG e.V., BavAIRia e.V. and University of Esslingen (10 min) Q&A and discussion of your challenges based on where you are right now (30 min) This is a practical conversation for people building defence products and trying to navigate the realities of European defence procurement. (5 min) Bring your questions and challenges — let’s unpack them together! — Not yet part of the EDTH community? 1) Sign up to become a member here: https://community.eurodefense.tech/ 2) Get free access to all EDTH Community events for one year, including hackathon demo days, webinars, networking sessions, and our flagship New Defense Summit

Subvisual's Starbase Lisbon 2026

09:00Lisboa

As Onchain Lisbon Week takes over the city, we will heed the call. A Starbase never stands still, and still fresh from the Coimbra landing, we will take flight towards the capital of Portugal once again. Builders need a safe haven to refuel (we mean eat. It’s food. We like food. We’ll keep saying refuel though to stay on-brand), rest up, and build with tranquility. As such, on July 22, Subvisual’s Starbase lands in one of Lisbon’s most beautiful hidden gems for an open-office residency. No stage, no panels, no noise. We will provide a premium environment designed for everyone to collab, get some work done, and network. As always, we will provide the essentials—the space, the community, and the fuel (wink wink)—so you can focus on getting stuff done alongside the brightest minds in Web3. The future is being built here, wherever here is. Secure your spot. 🌟
